BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide service to bank customers by conducting transactions, referring customers to a customer service representative when necessary and providing the highest quality of service possible to each and every customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Receive checking and/ or savings deposits and/or withdrawals: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
• Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on bank and regulation requirements.
• Have awareness of procedures involved in handling counterfeit currency.
• Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services
